Zoom Partner Program Expanded, Integrator Certification Added

Zoom certified partner programZoom announced they’ve changed its hardware and integrator partner programs and not only added a recertification program but also added tiers to it, too. Established in 2018 to help customers implement hardware and streamline the deployment of Zoom Rooms and other Zoom products, the Zoom partner program provides an ecosystem approach of Zoom solutions. The Zoom Hardware Partner Program creates that ecosystem of products by certifying them to work with Zoom. And, Zoom’s Hardware Partner Program guarantees interoperability to businesses and value-added resellers.

This program will now utilize third-party labs that are certified by Zoom to complete objective product testing on behalf of our customers, with all testing fees payable directly to the lab. After the product passes objective testing, Zoom’s engineering and hardware teams will perform subjective testing to ensure optimal performance and seamless interoperability. Once the product has passed both tests, it will receive a “Zoom Certified” badge to indicate it as a high-quality hardware solution with Zoom. This program currently supports USB camera and speakerphone solutions, as well as Zoom Phone hardware.

The new Zoom Certified Integrator Program offers AV integrators best practices by providing design, deployment and management for Zoom Rooms, its certified integrator partners ensure Zoom customers get up and running with what Zoom calls a “faster with top-tier video communications experience.” And, so far, it’s worked.

To ensure that certified integrators continue to meet the high standards, Zoom is launching its Certified Integrator Recertification process. This process guarantees that our integrator partners are equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge they need to provide the highest-quality Zoom Rooms and deliver customer happiness. Requirements for the Certified Integrator Recertification process include an active Zoom University certificate, a Zoom Rooms project design review and Zoom Rooms customer satisfaction feedback.

Zoom’s Certified Integrator Program is also adding a tier system. This system recognizes Zoom certified integrators that excel in designing and installing Zoom Rooms, which enables top integrator partners to distinguish themselves from the competition. Additional benefits for integrators include website promotion, access to beta testing, stronger engagement with the Zoom team, and more educational opportunities.
