Almo Holds First Ever E4 Expo in Maryland

e4expo-0613The E4 AV Tour from Almo Pro A/V is not even three years old, but has already become the top distributor event in the USA, having had over 5,000 attendees. At each tour stop, Almo includes a small Expo floor of around 35 manufacturers who typically show their latest and greatest products — in fact, the first 100″ LCD I ever saw in person, the first SmartTV from Samsung, the first HDBaseT integrated projector and the first networked power conditioners were all at Almo E4 AV Tour stops.

The vision for the Almo E4 AV Tour came from Almo Pro A/V President Sam Taylor and VP of Marketing Melody Craigmyle — both of whom decided to not only hold an Expo but to mix-in InfoComm CTS-accredited Education (the second E in E4), the third and fourth E’s are Exchange and Explore.

So, what’s the E4 Expo?

Well, it’s a one-day event in an exhibit hall with over 30 manufacturers that have been charged by Melody and Sam to just show the latest and greatest products — the stuff they introduced at InfoComm.

It’s being held on July 26th at Turf Valley in Ellicott City, Maryland from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Barco will demo ClickShare; LG will be there with its new 4K displays; Samsung will have its new transparent LCD cubes; Da-Lite will have its ViewShare screen (the one with the built-in VTC camera); and Mitsubishi will show its new Laser projectors.
