Minnetonka, Minn., USA (March 2020) – Vaddio® is now shipping the AV Bridge 2×1, a solution designed to make it easy to record and stream high-definition video and DanteTM audio networking with 2 HDMI inputs and multiple outputs for maximum flexibility. The AV Bridge 2×1 joins our popular AV Bridge family of products including the industry standard AV Bridge, AV Bridge Mini, AV Bridge Conference, AV Bridge Matrix Pro and AV Bridge MatrixMIX.
With two HDMI inputs, you can connect either two cameras or a camera and computer, easily switch sources, set side-by-side or picture-in-picture for seamless live presentations, lectures and video calls. 1080p USB 3.0, HDMI and IP streaming outputs allow you to simultaneously capture to your computer, enlarge the source with an in-room display, or stream to popular online platforms like Zoom, WebEx, YouTube and Facebook Live – all without the need for special software or drivers.
“Understanding the diverse needs of our customers, Vaddio set out to create a product that allows for flexibility while still allowing for the highest quality in video and audio capture and distribution,” said Rob Viren, Vaddio Product Management. “Not only did we include two HDMI inputs for multiple HD video sources, the AV Bridge 2×1 features advanced audio mixing capabilities thanks to a 4×4 Dante networked audio I/O as well as a two-channel analog audio I/O.”
The AV Bridge 2×1 automates your presentation with trigger inputs for devices like our StepVIEW Mat or overhead IR sensors. Control Vaddio camera positions over the network, switch video sources and even overlay graphics for a high-quality production. With Telnet, web, serial and trigger controls the AV Bridge 2×1 can fit into any room system.
Typical applications include lecture-capture, corporate events, and video conferencing. Switch between views of the presenter and audience and add a company logo or speaker name for a more engaging presentation. Built-in echo cancellation mitigates any distracting feedback and ensures crystal clear audio while videoconferencing. Use existing audio products with the 2-channel analog audio I/O or install low-latency Dante networked audio.
