SurgeX, a leader in power protection, power conditioning, diagnostic intelligence, and remote monitoring, has appointed John Dodson as its agency representative within the MENA region. John has vast industry experience spanning almost 40 years across a range of audiovisual sales and business development positions. Dodson’s role will be to use his existing network of contacts in the Middle East and Africa to develop sales opportunities and greater establish SurgeX in the region.

Dodson previously worked as general manager for the Bose Corporation in the Middle East and Africa, and he also served as sales manager for Bose UK and regional manager for Yamaha in the UK. As an independent AV industry representative, he works on behalf of companies manufacturing microphones, amplifiers, processors, cables, connectors and technical furniture.
