Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America has introduced the PN-LM series AQUOS BOARD collaboration displays, designed for flexibility and ease of use in business and education environments. The series includes 55-inch (54 5/8-inch diagonal) and 43-inch (42 1/2-inch diagonal) models.

Running on Android OS 14 with the same user interface as Sharp’s PN-ME series, the PN-LM displays offer 500 nits of brightness and support multiple mounting and usage configurations — including wall-mounted, flat table-top, or angled up to 45 degrees, making them usable even as digital drafting tables.

The displays come preloaded with apps such as EShare for wireless casting, OfficeSuite for file viewing, a built-in web browser, and a file manager — enabling users to present, view, and create content without connecting to an external device.

Each model includes a built-in, CTS-certified Android system-on-chip (SoC) controller that supports sideloading Android apps and enables operation similar to a large-format touch tablet. The SoC also allows playback of third-party digital signage content.

Connectivity includes a USB-C port capable of video, audio, touch control, and charging up to 65W with a single cable. An HDMI output is also included for screen mirroring, along with an Open Pluggable Standard (OPS) expansion slot on the 55-inch model for adding an optional PC module.

The PN-LM displays are expected to begin shipping by the end of the month.
