Verrex announced Tuesday that Bill Chamberlin has been appointed president of the company, effective May 13. Chamberlin, a 20-year veteran of Verrex, most recently served as vice president of global sales and marketing and has held several key leadership roles during his tenure.

Chamberlin will succeed longtime CEO Thomas Berry, who is transitioning into the role of executive chairman. Berry has served as CEO for the past 25 years and will continue to support the company through collaboration with the Verrex Board of Directors and strategic guidance to the executive team.

“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside and mentoring Bill for the past two decades,” Berry said. “He has an exceptional understanding of our organization’s culture, clients, and people. I’m confident that Bill will lead Verrex with integrity, fresh energy, and a vision for positive change that aligns with our core values and future goals.”

Chamberlin called Berry “a crucial interface to the board” and emphasized the continued support he will provide. “The great news is that Tom isn’t going anywhere; he will continue to support us and be my sounding board like he has been for the past two decades,” Chamberlin said.

In his new role, Chamberlin will lead the company’s global efforts to deliver audiovisual solutions and service experiences. He noted that Verrex has evolved significantly since it was acquired by Five Crowns Capital in 2017 and said further transformation is expected.

“We aren’t the same company we were eight years ago… and we won’t be the same company eight years from now, and that’s a good thing,” Chamberlin said. “I’m grateful for this opportunity. Tom and the board have given me a chance to take this next step in my career.”

Verrex is a global provider of audiovisual integration and managed services, with offices and partnerships across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
