Q-SYS Platform Offers Control and Monitoring Integration with Attero Tech Dante and AES67 Endpoints
QSC and Attero Tech have jointly announced the availability of Q-SYS plug-ins for specific Dante and AES67-enabled devices from Attero Tech. Developed and supported by Attero Tech, the plug-ins provide comprehensive audio and control integration with QSC’s Q-SYS Platform. Plug-ins will be available for a range of Attero Tech devices including the unHX2D HDMI audio-to-Dante de-embedder/embedder, the unD6IO-BT and the new unAX2IO+ wall plates, which will be showcased at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, Fla.
By using these new Q-SYS plug-ins, integrators and end users will have the ability to remotely control and monitor the Attero Tech devices from within the Q-SYS system allowing for tight integration with remote source and output devices. Audio streams from Attero Tech’s Dante-enabled devices can be received using the Q-SYS Dante I/O edge network card, while audio streams from any Attero Tech AES67-enabled devices will enter Q-SYS natively without the need for a dedicated network interface card.
From Q-SYS, users can quickly set up audio routing and other Attero Tech functionality such as gain control, phantom power, etc. using the new plug-ins. In addition, users can expose those parameters for real-time control over the audio I/O devices on QSC’s own touch screen controllers and other user control interface software applications, eliminating the need for additional modules.
