Audinate has introduced Dante Device Link, a new technology designed for manufacturers that expands device configuration capabilities and supports cloud-based AV system management.

The tool connects directly with Dante Director, Audinate’s cloud-based network management software, enabling control over parameters such as gain, EQ settings, phantom power, and fault detection. According to the company, this allows manufacturers to implement cloud-based management features without building custom infrastructure.

Dante Device Link supports:

• Scene-based system configurations, allowing users to swap between preset room profiles.
• Configuration templates, which can replicate AV routing and settings across similar room types.
• System recovery or replacement workflows, helping restore AV configurations after outages or hardware failures.

Manufacturers can integrate Dante Director’s features via API, whether they are building new cloud management systems or adding functionality to existing platforms.
