NEC Display Intros 19″ Mercury-Free Monitor
NEC Display will debut a 19-inch, mercury-free, LED-backlit monitor in the form of the AccuSync AS192WM. This is not only aimed at desktop users, but also at small digital signage applications. Using 33 percent less power than a CFL-based 19″, this display is ENERGY STAR 6.0 and TCO 6.0 certified, is EPEAT Silver rated and includes an Eco Mode and carbon footprint meter tools.
The AS192WM is a 19-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio display, with a resolution of 1440×900. It offers both VGA and DVI connectivity, plus includes tilt. It also has two 1-watt integrated speakers. It lists for only $149.
