Leon Speakers Debuts New Design-Driven Commercial AV Solutions at InfoComm 2017

ANN ARBOR, MI (June 2017) — Leon Speakers will be showcasing design-driven, high-performance commercial AV products during InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, June 14–16, in booth #3169. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2017, Leon is taking typical, predictable AV designs and upending them by challenging convention, bending rules, and blending art with audio and design with technology. From soundbars, telepresence and video conferencing speaker systems to videowall solutions and more, Leon’s new products emphasize design and performance, while offering reliability commercial environments demand.

“Often, commercial integrators consider reliability, performance, and cost first, then design,” says Mike Fencil, Leon’s Commercial Sales Director. “Conversely, Leon has always led with design. We are excited to show the InfoComm audience how transformative Leon’s AV solutions can be while offering build quality that stands up to the wear and tear of any professional space, whether it’s an AV solution for the lobby, a huddle space, or an executive boardroom.”

“Well-engineered, high-performance commercial projects don’t always look the best. However, when technology integrators put design first, it elevates the user experience while enhancing the environment. This dramatically benefits the integrator, who is usually the last person to commission a room before it goes live, putting the onus on them to ensure the technology looks like it belongs there, functionally and aesthetically,” says Fencil.

Leon’s new UX Series of soundbars, on-wall, and in-wall speakers is the company’s thinnest, best sounding speaker line ever, made to complement today’s trend in low profile commercial displays.  With 20 models across five product series, the Leon UX Series provides speaker solutions to suit any commercial environment, including corporate, hospitality, education, and more. Following this trend in ultra-thin speakers, the new thinner, A8-200 subwoofer will also make its debut.

Illustrating the company’s commitment to balancing technology, form, and function, Leon’s new Interactive FIT™ (patent pending) is a video conferencing solution that combines high-performance audio with customizable storage space for small AV components. Configurable for any application, the Interactive FIT mounts directly to a display and acts as both an audio source and a compact storage space for devices such as webcams, mini PCs, small amplifiers, and baluns. Outfitted with a custom grill handcrafted to match the width of the display, Leon’s new Interactive FIT provides seamless technology integration, while eliminating clutter.

Leon will also show the highly innovative Horizon™ Interactive series, which delivers an incredibly natural dialogue experience for any Telepresence system. Designed to house PTZ cameras and custom-built to match the exact width of any display, this top-performing soundbar combines high-fidelity sound and high-definition video in one cabinet—a combo that creates a uniquely immersive video conferencing system.

The Edge Media Frame from Leon’s Media Decor product family, also being shown, is designed to encase flat panel displays and house any of Leon’s Horizon or Profile Series speakers, including the Interactive Series. Adding a clean, contemporary, built-in look to flat panels, Edge conceals mounting hardware and wiring in one simple design. Moreover, Edge can be customized and finished to match any decor, it is easy to install and includes multiple points of adjustment to provide an elegant audiovisual solution that will truly complement any environment.

Supporting the burgeoning video wall market, Leon provides custom AV solutions from its Horizon and Profile Series, specifically geared for multi-screen video walls. These hand-built, on-wall, custom video wall speaker solutions are built to match the exact height and width of the screen array, no matter how large, completely concealing all mounting and wiring for an exquisite fit and finish.
