Lenbrook International Welcomes Graeme Harrison to Lead New Business Line

ISE 2019, Amsterdam, NL, 4 February, 2019 – Canada-based international brand and distribution company, The Lenbrook Group of Companies, announced today the formation of a dedicated business division aimed at introducing music streaming and multi-zone audio solutions to commercial spaces such as restaurants, hotels, and other places of business.

The new division will form part of Lenbrook International’s brand development business group and will introduce a family of purpose built streaming audio solutions for application in the growing “music for business” segment. The suite of products, which will be sold under the “Bluesound Professional” brand, are enabled by the highly acclaimed BluOS high res audio multi zone music platform also developed by Lenbrook.

Lenbrook’s new business will be led by its Vice-President & General Manager, Graeme Harrison, who brings almost 35 years of global business development experience in this sector to this position. Harrison was most recently the Executive Vice-President of Marketing for US-based commercial audio company Biamp, leading the global sales, marketing and product management departments. He was a significant member of the senior leadership team that led Biamp to strong growth multiples over the 27 years he was there.

Before this, he worked for Hill Audio (an English manufacturer of mixing consoles and amplifiers) and Renkus-Heinz (an American manufacturer of loudspeakers). Harrison has degrees in Chemistry and Marketing. He is deeply embedded in the TED community, is an ambassador for Shared Studios, and a member of the General Thinking community, in addition to pursuing his hobbies in music, photography, the arts, and travel. Originally from the UK, Harrison is based out of Portland, Oregon, where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Commenting on the new venture at Lenbrook, Harrison says, “After helping to build Biamp into a global leader in the commercial audio sector, I was looking for a new challenge that really excited me. The chance to build Bluesound Professional from the ground up and to introduce modern methods of sourcing and distributing music content in commercial installations was irresistible. I am already greatly enjoying working with the Lenbrook teams and I’m excited to introduce this new brand, the concepts behind it and our products to the industry.”

On Harrison’s joining of Lenbrook and the opportunities Bluesound Professional represents, Gord Simmonds, Lenbrook’s President and CEO, explained, “The Lenbrook Group enjoys a leadership position in the premium audio sector as we develop the worldwide business for iconic consumer audio brands NAD Electronics and PSB Speakers and the more recently launched Bluesound high res audio wireless multi-room suite. With a corporate strategic goal of building up the commercial and B2B share of our global revenues, the move to add an industry leader in Graeme Harrison to head up a separate and focused Bluesound Professional business should be seen as both a natural and a significant step as we strengthen our global plans and efforts”

Lenbrook International will welcome interested international commercial audio distributors, system integrators, design consultants and members of the commercial audio media to their booth 15-B236 during ISE 2019 for an early preview of Bluesound Professional products and further conversation with Harrison and the Lenbrook team on the rollout plans anticipated over the next several months.
