Fasetto Receives Dolby Atmos Product Certification from AUDIO Cu
Fasetto announced that it received Dolby Atmos Product Certification from Dolby Laboratories for its AUDIO Cu. Fasetto is the first company to receive a Dolby Atmos Product Certification for a sound over the power lines home audio solution.
Before a company sells products containing Dolby intellectual property, it is required to have the products registered, tested and their designs approved by Dolby Laboratories. Dolby Laboratories evaluated Fasetto’s AUDIO Cu sound over power line home audio solution using its applicable standards of quality and design and awarded AUDIO Cu a Dolby Atmos Product Certification. Dolby Laboratories’ product evaluation is a critical part of its quality assurance program; it ensures that the end user receives the Dolby experience that they are accustomed to and expect. The Dolby Atmos Product Certification enables Fasetto to legally sell its AUDIO Cu solution as a Dolby certified product.
The Dolby-certified AUDIO Cu is a plug-and-play sound over power line home audio solution that empowers consumers and integrators to have an affordable audio option without all the headaches and limitations of an audio video receiver (AVR), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and WISA/WISA-e systems. This pioneering solution decodes audio on the fly to flawlessly match the source material to the speaker system configuration via the power lines to each channel by an AUDIO Cu amplified receiver (RX). AUDIO Cu can detect noise or interference on the power lines to determine the best way to send the packets of audio to each speaker or subwoofer without any packet loss or latency, providing optimal sound quality. AUDIO Cu delivers an immersive experience by sending sound over the power lines to up to 10 channels per audio system in any configuration 2.0 to 9.1 including Dolby Atmos up to 7.1.2. AUDIO Cu can handle up to 32 different channels split between multiple systems within one environment.
This solution can be configured for any home audio system. It enables users to grow their speaker count according to their needs. The included mobile app, which works on Apple and Android smart devices, makes it “simple to set up and manage any new or existing home audio system.” Users can control each speaker or system individually and use a variety of digital signal processor (DSP) presets and listening modes.
The AUDIO Cu sound solution also “greatly reduces copper needs within any audio system for a positive environmental impact.” The company says it substantially lowers the carbon footprint by reducing manufacturing pollution, millions of pounds of material waste annually, and logistic and labor-related pollution.
