Extron Combines NAV AV-over-IP and DTP Twisted Pair Encoders Into One New NAV E 111 DTP3
Extron has launched the NAV E 111 DTP3, a 1G Pro AV-over-IP encoder that integrates DTP3 twisted pair input, combining the capabilities of NAV AV-over-IP and DTP3 technology into a single solution. Now shipping, the NAV E 111 DTP3 enables seamless video, audio and control signal transmission over standard IP networks, offering low-latency streaming and power delivery for professional AV applications.
Key Features and Capabilities
The NAV E 111 DTP3 can receive video, audio and control signals from DTP3/DTP matrix switchers or transmitters via twisted pair cabling. It then streams ultra-low latency video and audio to one or multiple NAV decoders over a standard IP network. Additionally, the encoder can power a connected DTP3 or DTP transmitter over the same cable, streamlining integration and reducing installation complexity.
Built on Extron’s PURE3 codec, the NAV E 111 DTP3 delivers visually lossless 4K/60 video with 4:4:4 chroma sampling at 1 Gbps, ensuring high-quality performance for mission-critical applications. The encoder supports embedded HDMI and AES67 audio over IP, providing flexible compatibility with DMP 128 Plus DSPs and other IP-enabled audio components.
Scalability and Secure Deployment
Designed for professional AV environments, the NAV E 111 DTP3 offers scalable deployment across thousands of endpoints while maintaining secure AV signal transmission. The integration of NAV Series technology with DTP3 enhances flexibility and reliability, making it a robust choice for enterprise, education, and high-performance AV applications.
The NAV E 111 DTP3 is now available and shipping.
