beyerdynamic Launches DT 270 PRO Compact Studio Headphones for Everyday Creators

beyerdynamic introduced the DT 270 PRO, a new addition to its PRO headphone series, designed to deliver studio-quality sound in a compact, versatile format for creators working in smaller spaces or on the move.
Developed in Germany, the DT 270 PRO continues the company’s long-standing tradition of precision audio. Featuring a balanced and detailed sound signature with clear highs, defined mids and clean bass, the headphones provide reliable monitoring for home recording, podcasting and music production. With a 45-ohm impedance, they perform consistently across laptops, tablets, smartphones and audio interfaces.
“The DT 270 PRO brings beyerdynamic’s studio expertise into a more compact and accessible format,” said Andreas Rapp, CEO of beyerdynamic. “Designed with the same standards of comfort, durability and sound quality that our PRO series is known for, it allows creators at any level to work confidently and reliably, whether at home, in the studio or on the move.”
Weighing 194 grams, the DT 270 PRO features soft velour ear pads and a padded headband for long-term comfort during extended sessions. The spring-steel reinforced headband and high-grade plastic housing ensure durability for daily use in professional, educational and personal environments. A detachable coiled cable can be connected to either ear cup for flexible setup, and the included USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter allows easy connection to mobile devices.
The headphones are available now for $159.99 USD and $199.99 CAD through beyerdynamic.com and authorized retailers. Each package includes a 1.3-meter coiled cable (extendable to 3 meters), 6.35 mm jack adapter, USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter and a drawstring pouch.
