beyerdynamic Adds DT 770 PRO X to Permanent Product Line
beyerdynamic has added the DT 770 PRO X studio headphones to its permanent product line, the company announced Monday.
The model was originally released in 2024 as a limited-edition product to mark the German audio manufacturer’s 100th anniversary.
The DT 770 PRO X features a 48-ohm impedance for compatibility with a range of audio interfaces and portable devices. It also includes beyerdynamic’s STELLAR.45 driver system, a detachable Mini-XLR cable, velour ear cushions and a padded headband.
“We were blown away by the reception to the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition,” said Andreas Rapp, CEO of beyerdynamic. “It was clear from the start that this headphone had staying power.”
The headphones are available now for $199.99 at the beyerdynamic online store and through retailers including Guitar Center and Sweetwater. Each set includes a 3-meter Mini-XLR to 3.5mm jack cable, a 6.3mm adapter and a carrying bag.
beyerdynamic was founded in 1924 and is based in Heilbronn, Germany.
