Prysm Launches Environmental Cost of Operation Calculator for Displays
Prysm, Inc., this week announced the launch of its online Environmental Cost of Operation (ECO) calculator, which analyzes the total energy consumption of major display technologies, including LCD, LED, and plasma technologies, compared to Prysm’s Laser Phosphor Display (LPD). The calculator assesses the environmental impact of various large format displays, along with operating costs. The company says the new online tool demonstrates that LPDs can achieve over a 75% cost savings when compared to conventional display technologies.
