Prysm Announces Real-Time Multi-Site Collaboration with Synthesis 2.0

php8HvI3zAMSAN JOSE, California, May 19 — Prysm, Inc., a privately held designer of total display solutions that create unrivaled immersion and engagement, today announced that its Cascade collaboration video walls and displays are now available with Synthesis 2.0. The latest version of Synthesis delivers groundbreaking real-time, multi-site mirroring of content, powerful and easy to use administrative tools, and lightning fast cloud-based services.

With Synthesis 2.0, users of up to ten Cascade video walls and displays can seamlessly collaborate in real time. Every user can adjust the size, position and settings of content. Annotations and notes are instantly shared across every mirrored Cascade system. Even browser actions like scrolling, clicking links and interacting with multi-touch content are synchronized bringing web-based apps into the multi-site collaboration experience.

“Cascade systems with Synthesis 2.0 break through the barriers to collaboration faced by geographically separated teams,” said Dana Corey, vice president of global sales at Prysm. “Mirroring represents an unprecedented capability that truly unleashes the creativity and productivity of work groups.”

Synthesis 2.0 supports mirroring of Cascade systems of differing aspect ratios. Follow-me mode automatically pans the Cascade’s screen focus to the currently active content of a mirrored system. From the Cascade 190 in the boardroom to the Cascade 65 in the two-person huddle room, every Cascade system can now be part of a breakthrough multi-site collaboration experience.

Designed to scale to the needs of global enterprise customers, the new cloud architecture of Synthesis 2.0 provides lightning-fast performance worldwide. Built on a foundation of secure, standards-based protocols, it can seamlessly integrate with customers’ IT infrastructure. The Synthesis enterprise administration portal allows customers to manage and maintain user accounts and Synthesis deployments through a powerful, easy-to-use interface.

In addition to these new features, Synthesis 2.0 offers the same great performance that has garnered industry recognition of the award-winning Cascade collaboration solutions. As simple to use as a tablet, Cascade systems put powerful collaboration capabilities at your fingertips. Users can capture, contribute and share content and ideas. Live streaming video, web apps, documents, presentations, images and inputs from PCs and mobile devices can be displayed, resized, positioned and annotated on screen. On screen controls let users make video conference calls, pan and zoom a camera, adjust volume, size and position dynamic keyboards, and play and pause videos. Configurable workspaces allow teams to save their work between sessions and pick up where they left off at their next meeting.

“Synthesis 2.0 represents an exciting new milestone for customers of Cascade video walls and displays,” said Brandon Fischer, vice president and general manager of research and development for Prysm. “Delivering unmatched collaboration capabilities, Cascade systems running on Synthesis 2.0 connect people, content and ideas in ways that streamline workflow, increase productivity, and accelerate decision making like never before.”

Prysm will exhibit its complete line of Cascade video walls and displays and an Olympic 4K UHD video wall at the InfoComm show in booth #2567. Visitors can explore the Expo hall with complimentary invitation code PRY219.
