The company’s scalable meeting platform, Pexip Infinity, will be also be showcased by leading partners at the annual marketplace in Amsterdam.

Ease of use and new product features
Pexip Infinity is radically enhancing and simplifying the user experience for face-to-face communications. For conferences that include any variety of clients and endpoints such as Microsoft® Lync® or Skype™, traditional videoconferencing solutions, and simple Web browser-based video endpoints, the Pexip Infinity platform is reinventing the way organizational members meet on any device. At the same time, it wipes out the need for substantial investments for dedicated infrastructure. Purely software-based and virtualized, Pexip Infinity uses existing IT and cloud infrastructure to deliver video, audio, and Web-based collaboration — resulting in a visual communications platform that is incredibly easy to install, deploy, operate, and, most importantly, to use.

As a feature preview at this year’s trade show, Pexip will showcase outbound video from Pexip Infinity. By simply making available an outbound stream of high-definition video, Pexip Infinity quickly and simply enables enterprise CDN (Content Delivery Network) services, as well as publicly available streaming and recording. Through use of the Pexip API (Application Programming Interface), enterprises can deliver Pexip conferences and meetings internally using their existing CDN solutions, or simply share and stream using YouTube™, as live events. Streaming to YouTube as a live event also automatically records the session, so it can be shared publicly or privately for consumption by an unlimited amount of users at their own leisure.

Extensive education programs
Over the course of the three days at ISE 2015, Pexip will present no less than five speaking sessions for ISE and InfoComm. Audiences will be treated to both objective educational sessions that earn them InfoComm CTS renewal units, as well as insightful updates on UC&C trends and customer case studies. Sessions include:

2. “Addressing Real-Life UC&C Challenges in a Multinational Enterprise,” case study by Pexip customer Arup, a 13,000 people strong organization, Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 15:00
3. “Trends and directions in UC&C – what you MUST know,” Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 11:00
4. “Microsoft Lync and the Quest for Broad UC&C Interoperability,” InfoComm education session, Thursday, Feb. 12 at 13:00
5. “How to efficiently scale UC&C to your entire workforce,” Thursday, Feb. 12 at 15:00

Sessions 1, 2, 3, and 5 will be held in the Unified Communications Theatre in Hall 9, whereas the session for InfoComm on Lync takes place in room D203 in the Elicium conference center.

Pexip’s education sessions all focus on and address the huge and dramatic shift in the unified communications industry. With the advent of software-based clients like Microsoft Lync, as well as IT taking on a greater part of the UC strategy within companies, these sessions will explore how video specialists and AV integrators can benefit and stay on top of their game.
