Omron Electronic Components Europe will showcase sensor solutions to enhance digital signage installations and systems at ISE 2022 in stand 2R430. Solutions will include human vision privacy-sensitive facial recognition technology and people detection and environmental sensors.

Omron will present the HVC-2 image sensors, which can detect faces, facial features and human bodies. It can also estimate the age and gender of the humans in the captured images. No personal or private data is stored.

Omron will also be offering live demos of the Omron D6T-32L thermal sensor with the people detection algorithm. It can reliably detect people and objects in a wide area across its 90-degree by 90-degree field of view. These characteristics, combined with the facial recognition features of the HVC-P2 and the “mechanical eye” capabilities of the TOF sensor module, offer opportunities in signage and smart buildings and for occupancy monitoring within facilities.

Omron will also present sensors such as the D6F-PH Digital Pressure and 2JCIE Environment Sensors. The sensors enhance HVAC systems through accurate sensing of airflow, temperature, humidity and human presence.
