Magewell Director Mini Production and Streaming System Now Compatible with Elgato Stream Deck
Magewell has introduced a new plug-in for Elgato’s Stream Deck, adding control options for its Director Mini production and streaming system. The Director Mini combines multi-input switching, graphics, streaming, recording, and monitoring in a portable device, allowing users to produce multi-camera content via a touchscreen interface or mobile app.
The plug-in enables more than 200 Director Mini features—such as switching video sources, triggering graphic overlays, starting streams, scoreboard control, and instant replays—to be assigned to customizable buttons on Stream Deck controllers. Stream Deck buttons can also trigger shortcuts that execute multiple actions with a single tap. The plug-in supports dials and the dynamic touch strip on the Stream Deck + model, allowing for precise control of features like the Director Mini’s audio mixer.
