Magewell is now shipping the latest model in its Pro Convert lineup: the Pro Convert IP to USB, a compact device that simplifies the integration of IP video into conferencing and production software.

The new model combines Magewell’s Pro Convert IP decoding technology with the ease of USB video ingest, enabling users to bring NDI, NDI HX or other streaming sources into Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other platforms using a standard USB interface.

Alongside NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX2 and NDI HX3, the Pro Convert IP to USB supports H.264 and H.265 streams via SRT, RTMP, RTSP, RTP, UDP and HTTP. This broad format support gives users maximum flexibility to bring live IP sources into software — even when native NDI or streaming support is available — while reducing the host computer’s CPU or GPU load by handling decoding externally.
