At InfoComm 2025, Taiwan Excellence brought it. And by it, I mean 17 of its leading brands to showcase innovation at this year’s show.

So, what’s Taiwan Excellence and why does it have a pavilion?

Taiwan Excellence is a program established by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs that helps to promote Taiwanese products on a global scale. The companies with the Taiwan Excellence stamp of approval mean they applied and were selected based on R&D, quality, design and marketing. And it’s those finalists we saw in that special area at InfoComm, representing Taiwan’s steadily enhancing role in the ProAV supply chain. So now that you know about the program, let’s talk about products.

Translation services are quickly becoming more and more important to our industry. At the end of the day, what many of us offer are ways to communicate. And what makes communication easier? Datavideo Showcast 100

I have spoken before about my belief in AV as the future of broadcast. Datavideo’s products are the perfect way to get into live production if you haven’t done so already. Below, you can see that with its products, they’re made for situations that need powerful, but not over-complicated tech. The Showcast 100 is a live production switcher that combines multiple functions typically handled by separate devices. It’s designed for professional live streaming, event production and broadcast use, especially in tight spaces or mobile setups.

CYP Seamless Matrix 8K Portable HDMI Signal Generator

For those of you who need to test signals in the field, check out Cypress Technology’s 8K Portable HDMI Signal Generator and Analyzer. Basically, this combines signal generation and analysis into one handheld, pocket-sized device, no need to haul around a rackmount unit. This is an integrator’s best friend.

InnoLux 3D Gaming Display

Last but certainly not least, a product I want to highlight is InnoLux’s 3D Gaming Display. If you’ve listened to me at all over the past few years, I’ve been a big proponent of gaming and an even bigger proponent of esports and how this market provides a TON of opportunity for our industry. It’s products like this that are going to help catapult us into the esports market. By the way? With this display you need no glasses, no headset, just yourself. While the application might seem a little specific for this, it just proves that glasses-free 3D technology is up and coming in multiple segments of AV. This display is perfect for simulation training, medical imaging and more.
