Here is Everything the HDBaseT Alliance is Doing at InfoComm 2024

The HDBaseT Alliance says it is excited to announce its comprehensive InfoComm 2024 lineup. The HDBaseT Alliance will showcase:

  • The first products supporting the new HDBaseT-USB3 standard for professional-grade extension of SuperSpeed USB devices.
  • The Valens Semiconductor High-Performance Connectivity Zone, which provides a preview of the technologies “empowering the next generation of unified communications and collaboration connectivity.”
  • Interactive demonstrations from co-exhibiting Alliance members.
  • Over 50 new HDBaseT products making their debut in 2024.

HDBaseT-USB3 on Display
HDBase says the new HDBaseT-USB3 technology enables the professional-grade extension of SuperSpeed USB (USB 5Gbps), alongside USB 2.0, power, controls and frame synchronization up to 328 feet (100 meters) over a standard Category cable. Visitors will receive a preview of the first extenders, video bars, room appliance controllers and PTZ cameras launching with support for SuperSpeed USB extension, empowered by the Valens Semiconductor VS6320 IC. The alliance says these provide new seamless video-conferencing experiences.

“The uptake of HDBaseT’s latest technology is remarkable and is a testament to the industry’s demand for a reliable solution that extends SuperSpeed USB. We’re delighted to once again be at the forefront of the industry’s transformation as USB becomes a staple interface in ProAV connectivity,” said HDBaseT Alliance president, Effi Goldstein.

The Valens High-Performance Connectivity Zone
Alliance co-founder Valens Semiconductor will demonstrate its new innovations at the High-Performance Connectivity Zone. Augmented by live demonstrations, the dedicated area offers visitors a sneak peek into the next generation in unified communications and collaboration connectivity, including AI-supported multi-camera setups, Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) solutions and 8K video walls.

Live Demonstrations and Interactive Experiences
The Alliance says it will host select members at the booth with  HDBaseT products in real-world environments. The members include: CTi, CYP, Datavideo, Good Way Technology, Hall Technologies, HDCVT, Key Digital, Silvertel and Tekvox. all demonstrating unique HDBaseT solutions to solve the current and future ProAV challenges in hybrid work and distance learning.

The HDBaseT Power Wall
The HDBaseT Power Wall display will feature the latest HDBaseT and HDBaseT-USB3 products and solutions set to hit the market in 2024. Featuring upwards of 50 products, the exhibit will provide an up-close look at the next wave of ProAV solutions “set to reshape the way the world works, learns and lives.”
