Exertis Almo has officially unveiled the winners of its 2023 Manufacturer Excellence Awards. Presented on Aug. 10, 2023, at a Gala at the American Visionary Arts Museum, the awards topped off a week of learning, connecting, giving back and celebration as part of Exertis Almo’s “Onwards and Upwards” 2023 National Sales Meeting (NSM) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Now in its 11th year, Exertis Almo Awards of Excellence recipients showcase the “ability to go above and beyond to support the needs of ProAV integrators and resellers.” Exertis Almo says these standout leaders understand the importance of building strong relationships and business strategies that create value and success.

“This year’s NSM carried a uniquely positive energy that could only be accomplished by the synchronized culture of Exertis Almo and our powerful line-up of leading manufacturers,” explained Exertis Almo EVP/COO Dan Smith. “Our Manufacturer Excellence Awards give us the opportunity to reflect on the impact of our partners by formally recognizing their outstanding contributions.” Smith continued, “The Pro AV industry has experienced such a rapid evolution — our award winners not only excel in technology advancements but also in their business strategies, communications, marketing and training.”

Held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, the Exertis Almo National Sales Meeting included several days of themed product training. Additionally, Don Yaeger, leadership speaker, longtime associate editor for Sports Illustrated, executive coach and 11-time New York Times Best-Selling author, gave a keynote focused on “What Makes Great Teams Great,” which motivated the group to dig deep into understanding their “why” and how to build and maintain a culture of greatness.

With a continued focus on giving back, the entire Exertis Almo NSM group of 200 packed 5,000 meals for the Baltimore, MD Generosity Feeds, a non-profit organization that focuses on decreasing local-area food insecurity by mobilizing people into a lifestyle of generosity. Over the last five years, Exertis Almo and its manufacturing partners have created and packed nearly 25,000 meals to support children in communities throughout the nation.
