AV professionals are organizing a campaign to “Wear Green for Greene” in honor of the late John Greene on Day 1 (Wednesday, June 14) of the 2023 InfoComm show in Orlando.

Greene died in May of 2021 after a battle with cancer. An SCN Hall of Famer and former sales director at New Era Technology U.S., Greene was known for his passion for the ProAV industry — including being a mentor to many and an enthusiastic support of diversity efforts. Perhaps more importantly, Greene was famous for his sense of humor and deep love for his family and friends.

“Windy City Wire is honored to help support #GreenforGreene Day at InfoComm 2023,” said Lauryn Toczylowski, marketing director at Windy City Wire, one of the companies that is supporting the campaign. “It is our pleasure to help keep John’s memory alive and well in the AV industry that he so loved!”

Campaign organizers are encouraging InfoComm 2023 attendees to wear the color green in honor of Greene. Windy City Wire will also have green wristbands available in Booth 2554.
