Windy City Wire on ISC West 2024

Windy City Wire

ISC West 2024, the most comprehensive and converged security trade event in the U.S., is set to take place April 9-12 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Expo.

Ahead of the show, the rAVe team sat down with ISC West exhibitors to see what they expect to see trending on the show floor and why attendees should visit their booths.

Executive interview with Dan Hughes, president, Windy City Wire.

Q: Why are you exhibiting at ISC West 2024?

DAN HUGHES: Exhibiting at ISC West allows our team to interact with our current partners, reinforce our position as the leader in the low-voltage world and attract new partners.

Q: What is one trend you expect to see at the show and why?

DH: At ISC West, I expect to see the growing demand for open supervised device protocol (OSDP) in security systems, as it provides users enhanced security, reliability and interoperability. It appears to now be the preferred choice for access control device communication. We’re also interested to see how AI will continue to be implemented in the security space.

Q: Why should attendees visit your booth at the show?

DH: Attendees should stop by our booth so we can further educate them on our complete labor savings solution. We will be doing demonstrations and would love to walk folks through the process of how we will bring a better solution to their day, compared to what they currently experience with other low-voltage cable providers.

Q: Anything else you’d like to add?

DH: Be sure to visit Windy City Wire in Booth 6054 at ISC West this year!
