Brompton Technology unveiled its new 8K Tessera SQ200 LED video processor, the first product in the company’s new third-generation range. The SQ200 follows in the footsteps of Brompton’s multi-award-winning Tessera SX40, delivering the same core feature-set and full backward-compatibility with existing Brompton-powered LED panels as well as existing XD data distribution units, but now supporting 8K and 4x4K workflows and added support for AV-over-IP protocols such as ST2110 and IPMX. The SQ200 brings a 20-fold increase in power over the SX40, making it the world’s most powerful 8K LED video processor and ensuring many years of continued feature innovation.

In addition, Brompton today announced its new Panel Manufacturing Partner Programme, with ROE Visual as a founding member and first-ever Diamond Partner. This new program will enhance the collaboration between Brompton and the key LED panel manufacturers integrating its LED processing technology.
