Black Box Shows HDMI Pattern Generator
Black Box debuted the PG-DIG – an HDMI and DVI Pattern Generator last week. According to Black Box, the PG-DIG is capable of generating resolutions up to 1920×1200, includes 34 test patterns and outputs HDMI 1.0, 1.2 and 1.3 (but not 1.4). It’s a hand-held generator that is battery operated (eight hours of operation are specified) and is shipped with a 3-meter HDMI cable. It lists for $500.
