Elite Touts New Evanesce as Flagship In-Ceiling Electric Screen
Dubbed the Evanesce, Elite Screens has launched its flagship, fully assembled hidden electric screen. Designed using a white-finished aluminum housing (that can be painted) and available in tensioned and non-tensioned versions, the Evanesce houses a matte white screen that they say provides wide diffusion uniformity and black backing to eliminate light penetration through the screen. It’s available in two gain options: the MaxWhite FG, a 1.1 gain layered fabric screen material that has a fiberglass-backing in 4:3, 16:9, and 16:10 aspect ratios and sizes from 90”-132” diagonally; and the Elite CineWhite, a 1.1 gain black backed PVC screen tension material that has side tab tension cords in 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 aspect ratios as well as a 2.35:1 aspect ratio and sizes from 84”-139” diagonally.
Evanesce comes with both IR and RF receivers, remote controls, a network port and a 5-12Volt trigger and both have an external and an in-wall integrated low-voltage 3-way wall switch.
