Black Box to Showcase Radian Flex Software and MCX G2 Series at InfoComm 2021
At InfoComm 2021, Black Box will showcase solutions for modern, IP-based and 4K AV visualization and distribution. The company will highlight its portfolio of products and ProAV systems, such as video walls and digital signage technologies, in booth 2801.
Black Box’s Alan Kaye, director of AV engineering at Black Box, will also present “Reimagining Your Collaboration Space With AV” (Session T118) on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 2:30-2:50 p.m. EST in Room 1961. Black Box MCX G2 Series
Black Box will launch the MCX G2 series, the next generation of the company’s MCX multimedia distribution and management system. The MCX G2 series features the performance of the original S9 and S7 series but adds several features, including best-in-class source-to-screen latency (less than 18 microseconds), one-port or two-port encoding devices, a video loop-through connection, USB-C and three-port USB 2.0 connectivity and PoE capability.
The Black Box MCX takes advantage of SDVoE and modern 10 GbE infrastructure to allow AV and data payloads to exist on the same IT networks. Through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs and interoperability, SDVoE technology ensures zero-latency and uncompromised video.
Radian Flex Software-Based Video Wall Processing Platform
Radian Flex is a fully software-based video wall processing platform that delivers flexibility and scalability for digital signage, corporate, education and mission-critical visualization applications. The intuitive software from Black Box makes it easy to display high-quality content from multiple sources across multiscreen display walls. Users add, move, resize and change content on the Radian Flex interface, and those changes are reflected in real-time on the target video wall, distributed visualization system or other display devices.
Black Box says Radian Flex supports an unlimited number of inputs, screens and endpoints. Users can daisy-chain monitors to display hundreds of H.264 and VNC video streams across multiple screens. Integrated SmartFrame technology ensures picture quality and automates content placement on the screen with minimal setup. The platform’s robust video engine supports 4K 60fps video up to an industry-leading resolution of more than one billion pixels.
