Yealink, the company that made its name in videoconferencing, voice communication and collaboration, has opened a brand-new Customer Experience Centre in Dallas, Texas. The centre aims to give Yealink customers (and their end users) the chance to get hands on with the company’s latest technology.

Since the company’s creation in 2001, Yealink has gained popularity, first in the VoIP space and then in conferencing, after releasing its first conferencing system and becoming a Microsoft global strategic partner in 2015. Since then, Yealink has ranked first in the global IP and SIP phone market and within the top five of videoconferencing shipments.

To accommodate for its growth in the UCC space, Yealink opened the Customer Experience Centre in Dallas, Texas — marked with a grand opening celebration in June. The celebration kick-started the centre’s purpose — to allow Yealink partners the opportunity to experience the company’s latest innovations first-hand. Partners in attendance to the grand opening included representatives from Microsoft and Biamp as well as executives from AVSI, DMR and AVIXA.

But aside from solidifying the bond with current partners, Yealink says the centre is also about expanding its reach by offering potential partners, customers and end users an up-close look at its tech. One of the main products at the centre right now is the SmartVision 60, which the company introduced at InfoComm 2023. (You can check out the rAVe product video below for a quick demo of the product.)

Calling it “the industry’s first multistream camera,” the SmartVision 60 is Yealink’s answer to the meeting equity problem; the camera gives people joining the meeting equitable treatment — no matter if they are joining from the office or from home.

The SmartVision 60 creates individual video streams of up to four in-room active speakers and stitches them together while showing a panoramic view of the room at the same time.

“With 20 feet of audio pickup included, in-office and remote participants can join a meeting on the same playing field. ” said Logan Lu, lead of Yealink U.S. sales engineer.

The SmartVision 60 is just one of the products available for a demo at the Customer Experience Centre. The company will also showcase a full range of its ProAV solutions: MVC Series Video Solution for Microsoft Teams Rooms, its MeetingBoard 65 Dual-Screen Whiteboard System and more.
