The Women in AV/IT (WAVIT) organization will host a virtual event, “Accelerating Action: The Power of Mentorship & Internships in AV,” in celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 9 a.m. PDT / 12 p.m. EST, the webinar will highlight the impact of WAVIT’s internship program and explore how mentorship accelerates career growth for young women in the AV industry.

Aligned with this year’s IWD theme, #AccelerateAction, WAVIT is committed to advancing gender equality in AV. The event will bring together interns, mentors, and industry leaders to share firsthand experiences, demonstrating how internships create career pathways and drive industry-wide change.

Attendees will hear real stories from interns and mentors, gain insights on how to support young women in AV, and learn how to champion inclusivity in the industry.
