Warren Chaiken Announces Plans to Leave Almo Corporation After 30 Years
In a statement released on LinkedIn Thursday afternoon, Warren Chaiken, CEO of Almo Corporation, announced plans to leave the company days before his April 2024 planned ascent to chairman.
Gene and Roz Chaiken, Warren’s parents and former chairman and executive VP of Almo Corporation, announced their respective retirements in a press release mid-January. The press release also mentioned that Warren would be filling his father’s shoes as the new chairman, with the position beginning in April 2024.
In Warren’s statement on LinkedIn, he writes that he is “transitioning from [the corporation] after 30 incredible years.” He does not mention what his next career move will be, but does mention that he is moving on with gratitude for his Almo family and its vendor partners.
He said,
“To my Almo Family, I extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and camaraderie. Though my role may change, my admiration for this incredible organization remains steadfast. I look forward to witnessing the continued success and prosperity of Almo.”
“Warren had the vision to expand his business into commercial AV and knocked it out of the park!” said Gary Kayye, managing director and founder of THE rAVe Agency. “The combination of Warren Chaiken and Sam Taylor was magical. It makes sense that they retire in the same year. Pretty much accomplished everything he needed to. Congratulations!”
