Vantage Trainings and Demonstrations in Advanced Lighting Controls to Inform and Inspire at CEDIA 2016

Its portfolio of industry-leading products will bring new levels of managing natural and artificial light, and elegance to luxury spaces. With energy savings, green living and home automation top of mind for architects, contractors and homeowners alike, the Vantage portfolio of industry-leading products will inform and inspire CEDIA attendees in Legrand booth #5132.

New products will be displayed at the show including the recently released InFusion® Universal Dimming Module (UDM) and a new Universal Dimmer Station (UDS) – both key products for LED migration that provide effective and seamless dimming control of multiple lighting sources. Vantage will also show the LiteTouch retrofit insert and Capri replacement keypad, which offer a quick and simple upgrade or replacement solution to existing LiteTouch®/Savant®systems without the need for new wires or retrofit holes. A variety of user interfaces will be available: Equinoxtouchscreen controls, a new adorne® programmable keypad, as well as a selection of classic keypad styles, including the new programmable RadioLink EasyTouch II Keypad, which will be making its tradeshow debut at CEDIA this year.

Attendees will be able to explore the latest features and functionalities in Vantage’s Design Center software including the new integration with QMotion smart shading solutions. Products on display will include the QMotion QIS (Qadvanced Intelligent System) hardwired shades and Qube coordinator. QIS with Vantage’s centralized system is perfect for new construction projects, while QMotion’s Qadvanced with ZigBee Home Automation version 1.2 battery operated shades and Vantage’s wireless lighting control solution are ideal for retrofit applications. This demonstration will be shown at the Vantage booth and QMotion’s dedicated booth #5154.

Vantage will have representatives from product management and sales available to educate visitors on its range of easy-to-use, easy-to-install, scalable wireless lighting control solutions.

Training sessions for Vantage and QMotion are available on Friday, September 16:

9:00am – 10:30am      The Art of LED Dimming (Vantage)

Description: Come and learn about Vantage products and the solutions available to help you in your design and implementation of projects with LED lighting. We will be discussing sizing of loads, control of the loads, and how to get the best dimming out of these challenging light fixtures.

11:00am – 12:30pm    Wireless Lighting Solution (Vantage)

Description: Come learn about Vantage’s solution for remodel and retrofit projects. We will be discussing new and upcoming products, as well as reviewing how this solution can easily come together with Design Center software.

2:00pm – 3:30pm        Energy and Comfort Solutions (Vantage and QMotion)

Description: Come explore the integration of hardware, both Vantage and third-party products, as we discuss how to create a simple solution for clients with the Equinox family of touchscreens and keypad interfaces, utilizing our award-winning Design Center software. We will be covering shades, HVAC, daylight harvesting, demand response, and timers.

4:00pm – 5:30pm        Integrate Motorized Shades with QMotion (QMotion)

Description: Add value for your customers and your bottom line. Learn the benefits of integrating QMotion’s whisper quiet motorized window coverings for natural light management and energy savings. Learn about the latest communication and control options for integrating with the industry-leading automation systems. Helpful “how to’s” from measurement, fabric selection, ordering, installation and integration will be shared for you to learn all the latest in smart home automation systems and communication options.

All trainings will be held in the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, Room C154 and participants can earn 0.75 CEUs. All class times are Central Daylight Time (UTC -5:00). For more information or to register, attendees can visit the CEDIA Online Portal.
