What better place to celebrate digital signage than the city that is the epicenter of communications and host to numerous glorious digital signage installations? From October 20-24, multiple venues in New York City have been hosting a variety of events for professionals interested in digital signage, employee communications, retail decision-making, and more. From open houses to cocktail hours to conferences, this week-long celebration of digital signage is known as “Digital Signage Week.”
Here’s what I’ve been attending this week:
1. DSE ONE
DSE ONE, which was held on Tuesday, October 21 in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, is a new program designed to offer middle and upper management decision-makers an “exploration of the factors affecting digital communications today, from changes in human behavior by technology to the use of technology to connect people to places, products and brands.” The event covered how to effectively communicate to audiences in an ever-changing landscape through vendor demonstrations of new technologies, peer networking, a panel presentation, and more.
- Creating Customer Connections in a Digitally Driven World
- Substantiating Expansion: Making the Case for Additional Investment in Digital Signage Based on ROI/ROO
- Strategies for Developing Content That Works Across Platforms
- And more!
2. DSF Meet & Greet
The DSF Meet & Greet was a great way to wind down from DSE ONE. And, DSE One attendees were able to use their coupon code to attend the networking event for free. We kicked off the week with drinks, light appetizers and great conversation.
3. DailyDOOH INVESTOR CONFERENCE
Designed for digital signage and media senior executives, the networking event provided invaluable insight on the latest trends and future direction of the market to brands, advertising agencies, industry suppliers and investors alike.
- The Responsive Digital Display
- It’s Not Out of Home (OOH) Anymore
- State of the Union – What Makes the Best Retailers in the World
- And more!
The NEC showcase allowed attendees to take a look at and attend seminars on some of the industry’s latest technologies and products, including 4K displays/projectors and more.
- 4K UHD
- Laser Light Source Projectors
