Telycam has released a new plug-in for Elgato’s Stream Deck controllers, expanding control options for its portfolio of PTZ cameras and simplifying live video production workflows.

The free plug-in, now available through the Elgato Stream Deck Marketplace, enables users to control pan, tilt, zoom, focus and image settings directly from Stream Deck hardware. Functions such as presets, auto-tracking, white balance and exposure can also be assigned to the customizable LCD keys.

Telycam’s PTZ cameras are designed for professional AV applications and live production, with models ranging from the Vision+ series to the higher-end Explore series. The new Explore XE 4K camera, for example, features a one-inch sensor and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF), bringing broadcast-level quality at a more accessible price point.

“The Stream Deck family is the preferred control option for many producers, and we’re excited that these users can now manage and operate our PTZ cameras through their familiar hardware,” said Jenny Liu, co-founder of Telycam.

The plug-in supports a wide range of Stream Deck models, including the Mini, XL and the rack-mounted Stream Deck Studio. Telycam cameras are distributed in the United States and Canada by Mobile Video Devices Inc. (MVD).
