THIS IS A PROMOTED POST

IC25 Behind the booth Telycam (1)

Behind the Booth at InfoComm 2025 gives you a front-row seat to the people and products shaping the show floor. In this sponsored series, we sit down with top executives from InfoComm exhibitors to find out what they’re showcasing, which trends they’re watching and how they’re pushing the ProAV industry forward. This interview features Ivy Li from Telycam.

Q: Why is Telycam exhibiting at InfoComm 2025, and what are you most excited to showcase this year?

A: Telycam proudly develops and builds high-performance PTZ cameras and related solutions that are tailored for the ProAV and broadcast industries. From live production and broadcast AV to corporate town halls and next-generation meeting spaces, our innovative hardware is designed to elevate any workflow.

While we’ll be showing a few new offerings at InfoComm 2025, we’re particularly thrilled to unveil support for NDI FreeD in our PTZ solutions – integrating NDI and FreeD technologies in a unique way to transform virtual production with unmatched precision and workflow flexibility.

Q: What trends do you think we’ll see on the show floor and how is your company positioned to capitalize on these opportunities?

A: The line between broadcast and ProAV is disappearing fast, and Telycam has already been at the forefront of the broadcast AV convergence. As more enterprises look to build their brand stories and even develop personal IP (intellectual property) for their leadership, there’s a growing demand for robust, end-to-end AV systems. IT teams are now expected to do more with their existing IP infrastructure – adding capabilities like live streaming, recording, editing, and broadcasting – all without compromising on quality. That’s where Telycam steps in. We deliver advanced PTZ cameras and solutions that empower teams to capture broadcast-quality video right from the start.

Telycam Explore XE Black Angle

Telycam’s new Explore XE PTZ camera is equipped with NDI HX3, HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB ports to adapt seamlessly to any production setup. Powered by a robust 1-inch CMOS sensor with Phase Detection Auto Focus, it captures beautiful shallow depth-of-field shots while meeting the high demands of today’s hybrid production environments.

Q: Which new products, solutions or updates are you featuring — and how do they address current needs in the AV industry?

A: We’re excited to showcase innovations that we believe will be game changers. First, our Vision+ and Explore series PTZ cameras will support NDI FreeD through a free firmware upgrade. This means that virtual studios can ditch complex tracking setups and achieve pixel-perfect positional data using just a single ethernet cable—slashing setup times from hours to minutes.

On top of that, we are launching the Explore XE, a purpose-built PTZ camera designed specifically for the AV industry. It’s packed with all the essential I/Os – NDI HX3, HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB. And, like our award-winning Explore PTZ camera for broadcasters, the Explore XE features a powerful 1-inch CMOS sensor with Phase Detection Auto Focus, delivering stunning shallow depth-of-field images that meet the demands of today’s hybrid production environments.

The Explore XE will be shipping before InfoComm, and we are also announcing the shipping of the recently-announced Vision+ 4KZ. It is a cost-effective box camera that captures 4K at 60fps with spectacular video quality and 20x optical zoom. Its integrated control panel and color screen enable easy adjustments and status display, and it offers flexible outputs including HDMI, USB, NDI HX3, SRT, RTMP and more.

Q: How is your company supporting integrators and end users in navigating today’s biggest AV challenges — not just at InfoComm, but year-round?

A: In the face of a global economic downturn, it’s no secret that AV project budgets are tightening. As a hardware manufacturer, we’re standing by our customers with products that are designed to deliver the best price/performance combination in the market. This year we’re launching several new broadcast-level PTZ cameras that are reasonably priced without sacrificing quality and reliability — including the Explore, Explore XE and Vision+ 4KZ that I mentioned earlier. These cameras are built to meet the demands of professional production while keeping budgets in mind.

Unlike many PTZ camera brands, we leverage our emphasis on R&D to design and build our cameras from the ground up. This in-house development allows us to work closely with integrators to meet their customers’ requirements – for example, tailoring our algorithms to help visually match their existing cameras. And for larger projects, we may be able to customize our feature sets to meet their customers’ needs and make their job as an integrator easier. We want to be not just a PTZ camera provider to integrators, but a partner.

Q: Why should InfoComm 2025 attendees make a point to stop by your booth?

A: As mentioned earlier, we’ll be showcasing many new innovations in our booth (3088) that are meticulously designed to meet the technical, workflow and budget needs of the evolving broadcast AV landscape. Whether attendees are building smarter meeting rooms or stepping up to studio-grade AV production, Telycam has the solutions to help them craft content that connects. We encourage attendees to visit us and see for themselves!
