TechLogix Debuts 18G 4:4:4 HDMI Over Twisted Pair Using HDBaseT
TechLogix Networx announced the release of their TL-TP40-HDC2 extender set. Designed to transmit 18G 4K@60 4:4:4 HDMI and HDR up to 130 feet (40 meters) over standard twisted pair cable, it uses HDBaseT technology. The inout is HDMI and audio and the output is UTP and uses an external power supply.
With built-in bi-directional IR and RS232 control signal embedding, the TL-TP40-HDC2 extender set allows for the remote control of connected sources and displays and replaces long distance HDMI cables with UTP cable. The TL-TP40-HDC2 retails for $599.99 per set and will officially debut at CEDIA in San Diego.
