Tascam has signed a distribution agreement with Audiologic, making the company the exclusive distributor for Tascam and ART (Applied Research and Technology) products in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The move follows a recent restructuring that will see TEAC UK Ltd’s Tascam operations conclude after 38 years of trading. As part of the transition, longtime Tascam UK sales manager Neil Wells will join Audiologic to ensure continuity of customer relationships in the region.

The announcement was made jointly by Ralf Kohlmeier, Tascam division manager for Europe, and Andy Lewis, managing director of Audiologic.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Audiologic,” Kohlmeier said. “Their proven excellence in AV integration, especially their customer service and technical know-how, perfectly aligns with our commitment to quality audio and innovation.”

Lewis said the addition of Tascam and ART to Audiologic’s portfolio marks a significant step for the company.

“Both of these brands have a rich heritage in studio and broadcast audio, coupled with reputations for quality and innovation,” he said. “They are an ideal complement to our existing roster of premium brands.”

The new distributorship will take effect Aug. 18. From that date forward, Audiologic will handle all new orders, warranty claims and service provisions on behalf of Tascam Europe in the UK and Ireland.
