Tascam Details Meter Bridge App for Model Series Mixers
Tascam announced a free software and firmware update that adds meter bridge functionality to its Model 12, Model 16 and Model 24 recording mixers. The update allows users to display large level meters on a connected computer for enhanced monitoring.
Originally introduced with the Model 2400 and Studio Bridge, the meter bridge feature brings improved visual feedback for channel and track levels. With the update to firmware and the v2.20 Settings Panel software, users of the earlier Model 12, 16 and 24 mixers now gain access to this feature.
The app supports multiple metering views, including input channels, live sources, PC return channels and recorded tracks. It also includes a Peak Hold function with adjustable hold time, offering additional flexibility for mixing and monitoring workflows.
