TASCAM Releases V2.0 Firmware Update for DR-10L Pro Audio Recorder
TASCAM has released a Version 2.0 firmware update for its DR-10L Pro ultra-compact 32-bit float audio field recorder with lavalier mic, adding support for LTC jam sync timecode functionality.
The update enables users to jam sync the DR-10L Pro with timecode generators using LTC (Linear Timecode) via a 3.5mm stereo mini cable. To activate the feature, operators connect the timecode generator’s output to the DR-10L Pro input before recording. This requires temporarily disconnecting the lavalier microphone, connecting the timecode cable, and then reattaching the mic once synchronization is complete.
A new menu setting, “LTC SYNC,” has been added to access the feature. TASCAM says the update allows for more streamlined syncing in multi-device production environments.
