I called Nathan Bohl, Chief’s Director of Product Management, this morning to talk about the company’s DSE plans and ended up with a major scoop: Chief is launching an entirely new line called ConnexSys. ConnexSys is sort of a LEGO-like system for video wall mounting in that everything in the line simply goes together and works together. Features include the ability to mount multiple units to a single strut channel for quick row leveling and centerless lateral shift; six points of height, depth, lateral and tilt adjustments; and a cord release system that remotely pops any screen out 13.7″ (348.6 millimeters) from the wall. The mount depth from wall can be set between 4″ and 7.3″ (102 and 186 mm). The system accommodates monitors from 42″ to 80″ in both portrait or landscape mounting and can handle displays up to 150 pounds.
