PreSonus Launches StudioLive Series III SE Digital Mixers With Advanced Networking and Recording Features
PreSonus Audio Electronics has launched its new line of StudioLive Series III SE digital mixers, offering advanced features designed for fast-paced mixing and recording environments. The mixers include virtual soundcheck functionality, Milan-certified audio networking and Metro remote access capabilities.
The Series III SE lineup includes three models — SE 16, SE 24 and SE 32 — and is aimed at professionals working in houses of worship, music venues, and live performance settings. Each mixer is bundled with PreSonus’ software suite, including Studio One Professional, Capture and Universal Control.
PreSonus said the new line is meant to bridge the gap between studio-quality sound and live performance reliability. All three models function as 64×64-channel bidirectional audio interfaces, with integrated recording tools and multitrack SD card support for uninterrupted performance capture.
Among the standout features is the inclusion of Milan-certified AVB networking, which the company said ensures low-latency, time-aligned audio transmission with guaranteed interoperability across devices. The mixers also offer flexible routing options, allowing users to patch up to four sources — analog, network, USB and SD card — to any channel.
The virtual soundcheck tool enables users to recall previous recordings and mix scenes, engage digital returns and rename channels on the fly. Meanwhile, Metro remote access allows full control of levels, routing and effects processing via internet connection, with low-latency monitoring available directly on local devices.
Other features include customizable fader layouts, user-specific settings and flexible output mixes via FlexMixes, which support over 20 routing configurations in addition to a dedicated stereo main output.
PreSonus said the new mixers are now available and are designed to support both mobile and installed applications in professional audio environments.
