PPDS Partners With Allente to Expand Streaming Services for Hotel Guests in Scandinavia
PPDS, the global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has partnered with Nordic TV and streaming provider Allente to expand entertainment offerings for hotel guests across Scandinavia.
The collaboration brings Allente’s fully integrated hotel app to Philips MediaSuite TVs in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The app, available exclusively in the region, provides guests with flexible, competitively priced content packages, including premium TV channels, live sports, blockbuster movies, popular series and more.
Founded in 2020 through the merger of Canal Digital and Viasat Consumer, Allente serves more than one million customers via satellite and IPTV. Its partnership with PPDS is designed to deliver “home-from-home” viewing experiences by allowing guests to access a wide variety of content from a single interface.
Philips MediaSuite TVs already come equipped with popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+ and Canal+, as well as Google Cast built in. Guests can log into their own accounts from personal devices for a seamless and personalized viewing experience.
Allente joins the growing list of integrated streaming partners supported by the Philips MediaSuite line.
