PPDS has announced the launch of the Philips Stretch 3150, a 32:9 ultra-wide digital signage display designed for applications where conventional displays are impractical due to space or layout constraints.

Available now and introduced ahead of ISE 2026, the Philips Stretch 3150 features a 37-inch display with a 1920-by-540 resolution. The model replaces the Philips S-Line Stretch display introduced in 2022 and reflects updated market requirements across sectors including retail, transportation, hospitality, education, banking, healthcare and public venues.

The display supports both portrait and landscape orientations and is rated for 24/7 operation. It delivers up to 700 candelas per square meter of brightness for visibility in a range of lighting conditions. PPDS said the unit weighs 7.6 kilograms and features narrow bezels measuring 7.7 millimeters on the left and right and 14 millimeters on the top and bottom, allowing it to be installed in locations such as above shelving, on kiosks or on temporary walls.

Typical applications for the Stretch format include branding, advertising, menu boards, wayfinding and live information displays. PPDS said the updated model expands creative and installation possibilities while maintaining a compact footprint.

The Philips Stretch 3150 can be deployed as a stand-alone display or configured in daisy-chained installations using HDMI in and HDMI out connections. For tiled configurations, multiple displays can be connected to a single external media player for centralized content delivery.

An integrated slot for the optional CRD32 Wi-Fi module adds wireless network connectivity and Bluetooth capability. Content can be created and scheduled from the cloud, local memory or USB storage, depending on user preference and security requirements.

The display is powered by an Android 13 system on chip, enabling support for native Android applications and removing the need for an external media player. PPDS said the platform provides enhanced security and connectivity compared with previous generations.

The Philips Stretch 3150 is also compatible with Philips Wave, PPDS’ cloud-based display management platform. Philips Wave allows users to remotely install, configure and monitor displays, manage playlists, update firmware and set power schedules.

PPDS said the new model reduces power consumption by approximately 60 percent compared with its predecessor, with typical usage of 26 watts. The display carries an F-rated EU Energy Label.

“At PPDS, our focus fulfilling and catering for the visual needs and unique requirements of the market, no matter how creative or complex those ambitions might be,” said Bart Wouters, global product manager for digital signage at PPDS. “With the new and enhanced Philips Stretch 3150, we are bringing the best of the original Philips S-Line, together with a wave of new and upgraded features and designs, providing our partners and customers with the high quality tools to reach and exceed their ambitions.”
