Biamp has partnered with NETGEAR to deliver a Biamp-enabled NMS-NG10GPX-AVB switch, designed to make the deployment process of Cambridge Qt X sound masking solutions as easy as possible. With Biamp’s pre-configured setup, you can plug in and start using Qt X right away as Biamp says it’s optimized the system right out of the box for integration with Qt X.

The NMS-NG10GPX-AVB switch includes the following features:

• Equipped with 8 PoE+ Ports: The NMS-NG10GPX-AVB switch powers up to eight Qt X controllers, including the Qt X 800’s. There are also two additional gigabit ports for other functions, such as trunking.
• Preloaded with AVB License: The switch comes preloaded with the necessary AVB license, enabling it to pass AVB network audio signals without additional adjustments.
• Out-of-the-Box Configuration: The system is preloaded with a configuration file for seamless integration with Dante or AVB, ensuring optimal performance with Qt X right out of the box.
• Simplified System Deployment: The PoE+ support allows Qt X 800 devices to be installed in the ceiling/plenum, eliminating the need for a dedicated power source in the ceiling.
• Scalability: Up to six NMS-NG10GPX-AVB switches can be connected together without requiring further network design considerations.
