Kardome, LG Electronics Partner on Voice UI Integration Using Spatial Hearing AI
Kardome announced Tuesday a new partnership with LG Electronics to incorporate its Spatial Hearing AI technology into LG’s upcoming smart devices, beginning with smart TVs and later expanding to appliances, audio products and vehicles.
Kardome’s Spatial Hearing AI enables smart devices to isolate voices in real-world environments, even amid noise or multiple speakers. The company says the integration will create more accurate and responsive voice user interfaces (UIs), designed to function more naturally and effectively in complex settings.
“Kardome’s technology is a game-changer for smart devices,” said Jungho Kwak, head of MS Service Platform Development Division at LG Electronics. “By integrating this next-generation Spatial Hearing AI technology, we’re delivering a more intelligent and responsive user experience that redefines what’s possible in voice-enabled products.”
As voice control becomes more common across consumer electronics, Kardome positions its AI as a differentiator for devices navigating the demands of modern users and noisy environments.
“Our partnership with LG represents a major milestone for Kardome,” said Dani Cherkassky, CEO of Kardome. “Together, we’re bringing voice AI to the forefront of product innovation. Our Spatial Hearing AI is setting a new standard for voice UI in consumer electronics.”
Kardome’s AI analyzes sound spatially, identifying the location and characteristics of individual voices. The company says this improves command recognition speed and accuracy, boosting overall device performance.
The companies have not disclosed when the first LG products with the integrated technology will be released.
