At ISE 2020, Brompton Technology will be launching its new Tessera S8 LED processor. The Tessera S8 is a cost-effective solution for high-profile projects that do not require the large output capacity of the Tessera SX40 processor. However, it is also made for users who want to benefit from the flexibility of Brompton’s Tessera feature set and software.

Like the Tessera SX40, the Tessera S8 provides support for all of Brompton’s essential features, including High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Dynamic Calibration, which offer an approach to delivering better image quality for LED screens. Also, the Tessera S8 LED processor provides Ultra-Low Latency and High Frame Rate, and offers full 4K@60Hz input support, with eight 1G outputs, each capable of 525K pixels at 60Hz, 8 bits per color. All the industry-leading Tessera processing features are also available, such as On-Screen Colour Adjustment (OSCA) for color mismatch corrections, Dark Magic for dark-area detailing, and ChromaTune for video color replacement.
