intoPIX Powers EvertzAV AV-over-IP Solutions Adding IPMX Capability
intoPIX has integrated its TicoXS FIP codec into EvertzAV’s latest AV-over-IP solutions. The collaboration provides a standards-based approach compliant with IPMX, simplifying AV-over-IP adoption for professional applications.
TicoXS technology, powered by the Flawless Imaging Profile (FIP), enhances JPEG XS compression with:
- Image quality preservation with under 1 millisecond latency for real-time performance.
- A new JPEG XS TDC profile that doubles compression efficiency compared to previous versions, reducing bandwidth and power consumption while maintaining high image quality.
- Support for true 4:4:4 video at up to 12-bit color depth, enabling 4K and 8K video transmission over gigabit networks.
- Full compatibility with IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110 standards, ensuring interoperability for ProAV distribution and media production.
