Intinor has introduced new functionality to its Direkt series, enhancing image quality, interoperability and user experience for broadcasters and live production professionals. The latest updates include support for NDI 6.x and NDI-HX sources, 10-bit encoding and decoding, and improved management tools for more seamless remote production workflows.

Higher Image Quality and Expanded Capabilities

With the latest update, the Direkt series now features 10-bit encoding and decoding, offering improved color depth and dynamic range for contribution and remote production workflows. Additionally, the Direkt router series now supports IP stream input SMPTE 302M (Dolby E) passthrough on select SDI cards, enabling the seamless transmission of multi-channel, professional-grade audio for live broadcast and remote production.

Intinor has also continued refining SMPTE 2022-7 and RTP over SRT support, further strengthening its reliability for broadcast applications.

Improved Management and User Experience

With the latest version of Intinor Direkt Management (IDM), users benefit from an updated interface designed to simplify the management of multiple Direkt units. Additionally, an enhanced SDI input/output configuration tool provides greater control over production workflows, resulting in a better overall user experience.
